The accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting for the ethanol manufacturing facility. The role involves handling cost accounting for production, monitoring raw-material and by-product transactions (e.g., ethanol, DDGS), ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting audits.

Maintain accurate books of accounts (General Ledger, AP/AR, Bank Reconciliations).·
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS).·
Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment cycles.·
Track production costs for ethanol, by-products, and utilities.·
Monitor raw-material inventory (e.g., grains, molasses) and finished goods stock.·
Prepare cost variance analysis and recommend cost-optimization measures.·
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Excise, and other statutory returns.·
Support environmental compliance reporting where finance input is required.·
Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies.·
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning.·
Generate daily/weekly MIS reports on production cost, sales, and profitability.·
Education: B.Com.·
Experience: 3–5 years of accounting experience; manufacturing or ethanol/chemical industry background is an advantage.·
Strong knowledge of Tally/ERP systems, MS Excel, and cost-accounting principles.·
Familiarity with GST, excise duties, and state-level ethanol policy compliance.·
Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines..
