- Maintain and manage all accounting records related to logistics, including freight invoices, fuel expenses, toll charges, and maintenance costs.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and oversee timely payments to transporters and other service providers.
- Monitor logistics expenses and implement cost-control strategies & assist in the preparation and monitoring of logistics budgets.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the logistics division. Generate MIS reports, profit & loss statements, and cost analysis for management review.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements like GST, TDS, and other applicable laws. Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Liaise with the logistics and operations teams for data verification and cost validation. Work closely with procurement and operations departments to ensure financial accuracy.
- Manage accounting in ERP software (Tally or other Logistics Specific Systems). Ensure smooth integration between logistics operations and financial systems.
