AI Developer

BasisEHR, a product development company headquartered in Ohio, USA, Focused on US Healthcare Technology Market with thriving offshore activities in Vijayawada, India, is actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled AI developers to develop AI and LLM-powered applications that improve patient care and healthcare operations.

• Design, develop, and deploy AI models (including LLMs and agentic AI systems) for healthcare use cases such as clinical decision support, patient engagement, medical data extraction, and automation.
  
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical teams to understand requirements and deliver impactful AI solutions.
  
• Fine-tune and optimize large language models (LLMs) for healthcare-specific tasks.
  
• Implement agentic AI workflows that automate multi-step healthcare processes.
  
• Ensure AI solutions meet regulatory, privacy, and security standards (HIPAA, etc.).
  
• Analyze and process structured and unstructured medical data (EHR, clinical notes, images).
  
• Stay updated with the latest AI research and technologies relevant to healthcare.
  

• Strong experience with Python and AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, etc.).
  
• Design and develop AI models and algorithms from scratch.
  
• Implement AI solutions that integrate with existing business systems to enhance functionality and user interaction.
  
• Manage the data flow and infrastructure for effective AI deployment.
  
• Collaborate across teams to align AI initiatives with organizational goals.
  
• Experience in back-end development and API implementation
  
• Experience in integrating third-party services and developing secure APIs.
  
• Hands-on expertise with LLMs (GPT, BERT, etc.) and agentic AI architectures.
  
• Experience in healthcare data processing and interoperability (HL7, FHIR, etc.) is a plus.
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and scalable model deployment.
  
• Knowledge of data privacy and compliance in healthcare.
  
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and remote collaboration skills.
  

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
  
• Prior experience in healthcare or Health-tech startups will be a +
  
• Publications or open-source contributions in AI/ML or healthcare domains.
