Job Summary:

K. R. Mangalam University is looking for a dedicated and highly skilled

AI Engineering Trainer / Faculty to deliver high-quality instruction in Artificial Intelligence and its practical engineering applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in AI technologies, hands-on experience with modern AI tools and frameworks, and a passion for teaching and mentoring students. You will play a critical role in preparing students for successful careers in AI engineering, machine learning, and intelligent systems development.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Training

• Deliver theory and practical classes in core AI topics, including:
  

+ Machine Learning & Deep Learning

+ Natural Language Processing (NLP)

+ Computer Vision

+ Neural Networks & Transformers

+ Reinforcement Learning

+ AI System Design & Deployment

+ MLOps & Model Serving

+ AI in Edge Computing & IoT

• Provide hands-on training using tools such as:
  

+ Python, NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn

+ TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras

+ OpenCV, NLTK, spaCy

+ MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs

• Design course materials, projects, lab assignments, assessments, and case studies based on real-world applications.
  

Student Mentorship & Support

• Guide students in capstone projects, research papers, internships, and industry-aligned assignments.
  
• Support students preparing for AI certifications (e.g., Google AI, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, TensorFlow Developer).
  
• Encourage participation in hackathons, coding competitions, and innovation challenges.
  

Curriculum Development

• Collaborate with the department to design and regularly update AI Engineering curriculum based on academic standards and industry demand.
  
• Integrate ethical AI practices, data privacy, and responsible AI concepts into course content.
  

Research & Industry Collaboration

• Encourage research and innovation in AI fields; supervise undergraduate or postgraduate theses.
  
• Engage with industry partners for guest lectures, internships, joint projects, or advisory boards.
  

Academic & Institutional Duties

• Participate in academic planning, faculty meetings, and accreditation processes.
  
• Contribute to university outreach events, technical festivals, and faculty development initiatives.
  

Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or related disciplines.
  
• Additional industry certifications (e.g., TensorFlow Developer, Google AI, AWS ML, IBM AI Engineering) are a plus.
  

Experience:

• Minimum [2–5] years of experience in AI engineering, either in academia or industry.
  
• Prior teaching or training experience in AI-related subjects is highly desirable.
  

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in Python, data science libraries, and AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
  
• Strong understanding of AI lifecycle: data preprocessing, model building, tuning, evaluation, and deployment.
  
• Familiarity with cloud AI platforms (AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, Azure ML).
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom engagement skills.
  
• Ability to integrate real-world applications and interdisciplinary AI use cases.
  

Preferred Attributes:

• Published research in AI/ML or related fields.
  
• Experience in developing or contributing to open-source AI projects.
  
• Strong network in the AI/ML academic and industry community.
