We are looking for a skilled and experienced
Android Developer to join our mobile development team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Android applications and a strong understanding of the Android SDK, Kotlin/Java, and mobile architecture principles. You will work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to create robust and scalable mobile applications.- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with external APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud messaging services (Firebase, etc.).
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and design patterns.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java.
- Solid understanding of the Android SDK, Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration.
- Familiarity with MVVM, MVP, or other architectural patterns.
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- Knowledge of Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, etc.).
- Familiarity with Unit Testing and UI Testing frameworks.
- Experience with Google Play Store deployment and app lifecycle management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Valapad, Thrissur, Kerala: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
