Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to understand their needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are robust and efficient. You will engage in problem-solving activities, contribute to key decisions, and manage the development process to deliver high-quality applications that align with business objectives. Roles & Responsibilities: • Implement observability solutions focusing on Golden Signals for AKS-based applications • Develop, configure, and maintain monitoring tools like Splunk or equivalent, with an emphasis on proactive alerting. • Respond to incidents on a rotational basis, ensuring minimal downtime, and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical incidents. • Automate incident response using AIOps techniques, enabling self-healing infrastructure and reducing manual toil. • Identify and implement enhancements to improve platform stability, scalability, and performance. • Conduct regular health checks, capacity planning, and scalability assessments. • Work closely with development teams to optimize environments and automation frameworks. Professional & Technical Skills: • Drive the development of automated solutions for testing, deployment, and infrastructure management. Terraform experience preferred. • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) principles for reproducibility and efficiency. • Collaborate on version upgrades for AKS, MySQL, and other platform components. • Design and implement Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies in collaboration with architects. • Enhance existing High Availability (HA) configurations to ensure continuous availability Additional Information: -• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot application issues related to Java, MySQL, and Kubernetes. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear updates on incidents, progress, and outcomes. • Proactively challenge and suggest improvements to processes, architecture, and tooling.
