SR Group of Institutions, Jhansi is seeking a dynamic and dedicated
Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, particularly in the areas of Data Science and Cyber Security. The candidate should have a strong academic background and a passion for teaching, mentoring, and research.- Teach undergraduate/postgraduate courses in Computer Science, specifically Data Science, Cyber Security, and other relevant subjects.
- Develop and update course materials, lab exercises, and teaching strategies.
- Supervise student projects, internships, and research work.
- Engage in academic research and publish in reputed journals/conferences.
- Participate in departmental activities, curriculum development, and student mentoring.
- Organize seminars, workshops, and value-added programs related to emerging technologies.
- Assist in accreditation and administrative responsibilities as assigned.
- Educational Qualification:
- M.Tech/M.E. in Computer Science/Computer Engineering from a recognized university (Mandatory).
- Candidates with UGC/AICTE-approved qualifications will be given preference.
- Additional Qualification:
- Completion of a certification or diploma course in Data Science (e.g., from Coursera, edX, NPTEL, etc.) is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of Data Science tools, techniques (Python, R, ML/AI frameworks), and Cyber Security fundamentals.
- Strong teaching and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students in an interactive learning environment.
- Research orientation and publication track record (preferred but not mandatory).
- Good organizational and teamwork abilities.
