Audit Assistant

• Conduct and assist in statutory, internal, tax, and compliance audits for clients across multiple sectors.
  
• Ensure business transactions are accurately reported in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
  
• Collaborate with accounting teams to support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, audit schedules, and related disclosures.
  
• Coordinate with external auditors and respond to audit queries and information requests.
  
• Support client onboarding, especially in the context of GCC-specific accounting regulations such as ZAKAT, VAT, and ESR (Economic Substance Regulations).
  

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in auditing, accounting, or a similar finance function.
  
• Strong knowledge of audit procedures, accounting principles, and compliance regulations.
  
• Experience with audit documentation, work paper preparation, and financial statement drafting.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software; familiarity with cloud-based tools is a plus.
  
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  
• Ability to analyze data and present findings clearly and concisely.
  
• A willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a fast-paced and collaborative work environment.
  
• Willingness to commute to the Elathur, Kozhikode office daily is mandatory.
  
• Prior knowledge or interest in GCC financial compliance, ZAKAT, and related laws will be a significant advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,500.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
