An AutoCAD Draftsman prepares detailed technical drawings and layouts for engineering projects. Works under the guidance of engineers to ensure accurate design documentation and smooth project execution.
- Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD for mechanical, piping, HVAC, and structural projects.
- Convert sketches and designs from engineers into accurate technical drawings.
- Maintain and update drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, site teams, and other departments for drawing revisions and approvals.
- Support project documentation, including plans, bills of materials, and schedules.
- Ensure drawings meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and basic drafting principles.
- Knowledge of mechanical, piping, HVAC, or structural engineering drawings.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow engineering specifications.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
