Job Title: Centre Head – Primary School


Position Overview:


The Centre Head will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the primary school, ensuring academic excellence, staff development, student well-being, and smooth operational functioning. This role requires strong leadership, people management, and communication skills to maintain a positive learning environment and achieve the school’s vision and goals.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Academic Leadership


  • Ensure effective implementation of the curriculum as per school standards.
  • Monitor lesson plans, teaching methodologies, and classroom delivery.
  • Conduct regular academic reviews, assessments, and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Encourage innovation in teaching practices to enhance student learning outcomes.


2. Staff Management & Development


  • Train, mentor, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, workshops, and capacity-building sessions.
  • Provide constructive feedback and performance appraisals.
  • Foster teamwork and a positive work culture.


3. Student Development & Discipline


  • Ensure holistic development of students – academic, extracurricular, and social.
  • Monitor student progress, discipline, and welfare.
  • Organize cultural, sports, and enrichment activities.
  • Address grievances and create a safe, inclusive environment.


4. Parent & Community Relations


  • Maintain transparent and regular communication with parents.
  • Organize parent-teacher meetings, orientations, and school events.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and the community.


5. Administration & Operations


  • Oversee day-to-day administration of the centre.
  • Manage timetables, school calendar, and smooth conduct of academic and co-curricular activities.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies, safety norms, and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor resources, infrastructure, and overall centre upkeep.


6. Reporting & Compliance


  • Submit periodic reports on academics, attendance, events, and staff performance to management.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and audit requirements.
  • Maintain student and staff records efficiently.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education or related field.
  • B.Ed./M.Ed. preferred.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of teaching experience with at least 2–3 years in a leadership/administrative role.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in technology for academic and administrative purposes.

Job Type: Full-time


Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
