1. Operational Leadership o Lead the overall operational functions of the foundation, ensuring effective program delivery and alignment with the organization's mission and strategic objectives. o Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all operational activities, optimizing processes and maximizing impact.
2. Team Management & Development o Manage and mentor the operations team, fostering a collaborative, high performance culture. Develop training programs and provide support to ensure continuous professional growth of the operations team.
3. Budget & Resource Management o Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources across programs. o Oversee the efficient use of financial resources, ensuring adherence to budget constraints and sustainability goals.
4. Program Implementation & Monitoring o Oversee the implementation of programs and projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. o Establish performance metrics and monitor program effectiveness, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
5. Compliance & Risk Management o Ensure that operations adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies. o Manage risk assessment processes, identifying potential operational risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration o Collaborate with senior leadership, government bodies, and external partners to drive the organization's goals and strengthen operational partnerships. o Represent the organization in meetings with stakeholders, ensuring alignment of operations with strategic priorities.
7. Impact Assessment & Reporting o Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of operational activities, using data to assess impact and inform decision-making. o Prepare reports for the board, stakeholders, and donors, highlighting operational achievements and areas for improvement.
 Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Operations, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
ï‚· Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in the non-profit sector.
ï‚· Skills: o Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills. o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. o Ability to manage budgets, resources, and diverse teams effectively. o Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and performance metrics. o Knowledge of the non-profit sector, including compliance, funding, and regulations.
