- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines to cut sheet metal or other materials.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Load materials onto the machine and position them correctly.
- Monitor machine operation to detect any malfunctions or errors.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, such as cleaning lenses and nozzles.
- Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to improve cut quality or meet production needs.
- Keep accurate production and maintenance records.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment.
- Collaborate with the production and quality control teams to resolve issues.
