Role Description:

• Prepare and present all food items as per Delhi Chai Café’s standard recipes and hygiene protocols.
  
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes, especially chai variations and café-style snacks.
  
• Supervise kitchen operations including inventory, raw material usage, and stock rotation.
  
• Train and guide junior kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
  
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with FSSAI standards.
  
• Innovate and contribute to seasonal menu development and regional flavour adaptations.
  
• Coordinate with the café manager for smooth kitchen and front-end coordination.
  

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in preparing Indian snacks, fusion dishes, and tea-based beverages.
  
• Good understanding of kitchen operations, hygiene practices, and food costing.
  
• Ability to manage kitchen staff and work under pressure.
  
• Basic knowledge of inventory control and vendor coordination.
  
• Creativity in experimenting with new recipes and Flavors.
