- Prepare and analyze cost sheets for products/processes (standard and actual costing).
- Monitor product-wise cost trends and variances.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly budgets and forecast reports.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest actionable improvements.
- Monitor inventory movements, stock valuation, and consumption.
- Conduct BOM analysis, yield analysis, and WIP valuation.
- Coordinate monthly physical stock audits and reconciliations.
- Support plant-level finance operations with cost tracking, CAPEX vs OPEX reporting, and utility cost allocation.
- Generate cost center-wise MIS reports for management review.
- Support production, procurement, and operations with real-time cost data.
- Conduct variance analysis (material, labor, overheads).
- Review standard vs actual costs and analyze deviations.
- Assist in implementing internal controls and cost reduction measures.
- Ensure compliance with Cost Audit rules, Companies Act provisions, and GST input reconciliations (if applicable).
- Prepare reports for statutory cost audits and liaise with cost auditors.
- Support in data preparation for government cost returns.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting standards, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Proficient in MS Excel, Tally ERP / SAP / Microsoft Dynamics / other ERPs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inventory systems
- Attention to detail and time management
