Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and motivated

DCDP (Demi Chef de Partie) specializing in Chinese and Continental cuisine to join our dynamic kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supporting the Chef de Partie, and maintaining smooth operations in your section.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and cook dishes from both Chinese and Continental menus as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all dishes
  • Supervise and guide Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation and kitchen equipment
  • Assist in daily mise en place and food preparation for service
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control and rotation
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation policies
  • Collaborate with the CDP and Sous Chef on menu planning, specials, and quality control
  • Report equipment issues or shortages to the kitchen supervisor promptly


Requirements:


  • Proven experience in Chinese and Continental cooking techniques
  • Strong knowledge of ingredients, sauces, and cooking methods in both cuisines
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-pressure kitchen environment
  • Leadership and training capabilities for junior staff
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Food safety certification preferred
