Across domains such as Research, Development, Sales & Marketing, After Sales, and Corporate Functions like HR and Finance, we deliver solutions that power the entire value chain of Mercedes-Benz.

As part of the global ITH network (‘Home of Tech’), the ITH/IA team at MBRDI is focused on Technical Aftersales. We’re looking for a dynamic tech leader to head a 75-member team of product owners, solution architects, and developers in this space.

This position is critical to delivering business value through technology — specifically in the XENTRY diagnostic platform, software updates, and digital aftersales experiences for customers. The ideal candidate combines strong people leadership, technical depth, and stakeholder management experience to lead large-scale programs in the aftersales domain.

Objectives of the Job* Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, strategic project outcomes aligned with the global IT and BU roadmap.

Qualifikationen

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor�s degree in Engineering (any discipline)
  
• MBA (optional but preferred)
  

Experience

• 15+ years in software engineering or automotive IT roles
  
• Demonstrated experience in leading diagnostic systems or aftersales platforms
  
• Strong exposure to Agile/DevOps delivery models
  
• Hands-on experience in Java, AWS, and microservices
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Mercedes-Benz XENTRY systems or equivalent platforms
  
• Understanding of dealer network operations, service processes, and industry compliance
  
• Stakeholder and supplier management
  
• Business fluency in English (German preferred)
  
• PMP, SAFe, or other professional certifications is a plus
