Client is largest recycler and largest manufacturer of steel and steel products, is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Detailing Manager at our business unit located in New Delhi. Duties of the successful candidate include but are not limited to the following:
Serve as a dedicated leader for the detailing team, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement
· Oversee multiple jobs and ensure all project detailing activities meet or exceed quality and schedule expectations
· Plan and allocate resources effectively to balance workloads, meet deadlines, and maximize team performance
· Lead change by identifying process improvements, implementing best practices, and driving innovation in detailing
· Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and job site personnel to ensure detailed models and drawings meet project requirements
· Develop advanced detailing practices and promote their consistent use within the team
· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to detailers to support professional growth
· Review project drawings, specifications, addenda, and other contractual information to ensure accuracy and compliance
· Proactively communicate with customers and internal teams to address questions, resolve issues, and manage change orders
· Ensure all drawings and documentation are entered accurately in the business and drawing tracking systems
· Stay informed about new detailing technologies and software updates to ensure the team remains at the forefront of industry standards
· Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Formal leadership training, management certifications, or supervisory experience in a detailing environment
· Experience with resource planning and project scheduling in a construction or manufacturing setting
· Relevant certifications in detailing, BIM, or project management
