Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Manager


Job Summary: The Diagnostic Imaging Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the diagnostic imaging department, including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-ray, BMD, 2D Echo, ECG and EMG services. The role involves planning, organizing, and managing departmental activities to ensure high-quality imaging services and optimal patient care.


Key Responsibilities:


Operational Management


· Plan, organize, and manage daily operations of the diagnostic imaging department.


· Ensure efficient utilization of resources and adherence to departmental protocols.


· Monitor and evaluate departmental performance and implement improvements as needed.


· Organize staffing schedules to meet the needs of the Diagnostic imaging services


· Responsible for managing the appointment scheduling for the different consultants.


· Works on process and system enhancement to ensure the least possible patients’ waiting time and the smoothest possible patients’ access to service.


· Monitor key performance indicators and prepare regular reports for senior management.


· Resolve complex patient inquiries or issues, and reporting to the management.


Patient Care


· Ensure patients receive high-quality imaging services in a timely and compassionate manner.


· Address patient concerns and ensure a positive patient experience.


· Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.


  • Analyse patient feedback, coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to address operational issues and implement improvements.
  • Reviews continuously patients’ comments and feedback and accordingly rectifies root causes of repeated patients’ comments and complaints.
  • Be proactive in reviewing the current service, making recommendations and implementing changes to continuously improve the patient experience.


Policy and Procedure Development


  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.


Staff Management


  • Responsible for recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of Diagnostic clerical staff, while identifying and addressing areas for improvement.


Miscellaneous


  • Other jobs may be assigned by the Management from time to time.


Qualifications:


  • Post-graduate in hospital management.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare operations, preferably in an outpatient setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Familiarity with healthcare quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
