Digitization & Archival Research Intern
Location : Residency Road, Lal Chowk, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
Job description:
- Handle & digitize photographic negatives (35mm, medium format, glass plates, etc.)
- Use DSLR/mirrorless camera setup on copy stand for high-res scans
- Follow file naming/storage protocols
- Extract metadata from envelopes, boxes, or contextual materials
- Organize metadata in Excel/Google Sheets
- Tag images using keywords
- Assist in building a searchable digital archive
