Job Description


This role to Proposal Sr. Engineer Filtration systems will be responsible for complex techno-commercial offers support to global sales/customers. Responsible for team KPIs quality and OTD of the techno commercial offers prepared. Resolve TQ & CQ until order resulted. Internal and external co-ordination & Training.


Key Activities:


  • Manage own and team KPI’s in terms of On time delivery (OTD) and Quality of the outputs.
  • Manage priorities in conflicts, Internal stakeholders co-ordination and arrange required support.
  • Handle complex projects techno – commercial offers, make correct product selection inline with customer needs & global standard, prepare cost and price.
  • Studying Customer RFQ and project specifications, prepare comments & deviation sheet, product datasheet and costing sheet for filter and/or systems. Etc. Build Database and co-ordinate with team.
  • Follow ISO guidelines and SES processes. Ensure compliance with proposal process and outputs of team.
  • Co-ordinate with various global cross functional teams (CZ Plant/CoE/JVEL) for getting results.
  • Participate in technical as well as commercial discussions with sales offices or customers.
  • Keep focus on opportunities of improvements through SES tool to improve KPIs. Track development activities and seek opportunities for further improvement.
  • Manage regular inquiry review meetings, Daily accountability (DAM) meetings.
  • Ensure efficient support to sales offices and Business Development force.
  • Working on nonstandard / Standard – First Fit & spares inquiries with complex requirements.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Ensure meet the business expectations for team in terms of On time delivery (OTD)and quality outputs.
  • Co-Ordinate and Guide Sales / BDMs / Junior engineers about engineering process & products.
  • Maintain Quality : error free quotation preparation, Clean & Clear order handover to execution team.
  • Responsible timely support for SAP quotes, correct price estimation for technical requirements.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures (Smiths values and Leadership behaviours).
  • To use Engineering tools and perform correct nonstandard standard product selection calculation.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis and prepare Corrective Actions using SES problem solving tools.
  • Build and maintain good rapport with sales and internal customers to meet their business requirements.
  • Should actively contribute to Continuous Improvements in their day-to-day work.

Qualifications


Educational Qualification:


Bachelors in engineering or equivalent with min.5+ years’ experience
