Job Title: Chapter Area Lead

Location: Bangalore-Manyata Tech Park (Hybrid)

Business & Team: Corp Tech – Financial Crime Technology

As

Chapter Lead – Workflow Platform , you will be responsible for ongoing change and development for the workflow solutions and provide technology oversight to different business units while managing Engineers and work towards uplifting the Chapter Craft and skills.

You also have the opportunity to provide your technical expertise to help strengthen the standards of the team that spans across multiple geographies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• As a Chapter Lead Workflow platform you ideally will manage Staff and Below engineers. Uplift Engineering Chapter and Craft. Minimum 30% of contribution to Design, build and solutioning
  
• An evangelist for engineering principles, practices and standards
  
• Be responsible for the strategic technology direction for the team, including managing code
  
• Manage workforce planning and staff retention, cultivating a safe and trusted working environment
  
• You are able to manage relationships and communications with project stakeholders, including customers and delivery teams. Along with vendors and third-party suppliers
  
• Champion thought leadership for the process architecture and develop options for improving and updating current capability.
  
• Act as an escalation, advice, and decision-making point for Workflow Solutions.
  
• Review and contribute to reference architecture and platform initiative involving workflow.
  
• Monitor emerging technologies, industry developments, directions, and best practices.
  
• Provide specialised expertise and development using c#, Python, Java.
  
• Analysing systems to provide system support and recommendations for development.
  
• Expert troubleshooting of implementation, environment and deployment issues.
  
• Establish new ways of working and promote DevOps culture of CI/CD pipelines and Automation supported by world-class tools
  
• Have expertise in managing any workflow based technical environments (preferably Pega, Appian)
  
• Expertise to define and effectively communicate a long-term technical vision
  

Essential Skills:

• Hands-on engineering manager to manage software engineers in building cloud scalable platforms.
  
• 15+ Years of experience
  
• Expertise with API specification, design, registration and tooling (eg OpenAPI, AWS Gateway)
  
• CI/CD: expertise with usage and configuration of fully automated pipelines is useful. This includes GitHub Actions, Artifactory and GitRepo.
  
• DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps-managed environments. Specifically, around observability tools (Splunk, Grafana, Promethius, PagerDuty)
  
• Language orientation: Experience on C#, .NET Framework Core, essential. SOAP/REST APIs, Microservices and containerisation a plus. Node, Python and scripting knowledge useful
  
• Artificial Intelligence: Sound knowledge in AI technologies, particularly around tooling enhancements will be valued.
  
• Data engineering: Knowledge in building a data lake using real-time and near real-time services, along with data transformation, aggregation, and offering through API endpoints
  
• Strong understanding of Workflow Stack – Pega, Appian, Power, Temporal etc.
  

Education Qualifications:

• A degree in Engineering / Computer Science or a related discipline
