Position Overview


We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient engineer to support the design, documentation, coordination, and optimization of water and wastewater treatment systems from an office environment. This role focuses on engineering design, technical documentation, project coordination, and ensuring regulatory compliance without routine hands on field work.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design & Technical Review
  • Prepare and review engineering designs such as PFDs, P&IDs, process flow diagrams, equipment specifications, and tender documentation.
  • Conduct hydraulic calculations, mass balances, and process sizing for treatment plants, pumping stations, and storage facilities.
  • Project Documentation & Coordination
  • Produce, update, and manage shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, technical submittals, and design deliverables.
  • Qualifications
  • Collaborate with site engineers, procurement teams, clients, and support alignment of technical aspects and project objectives.
  • Regulatory & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations
  • Conduct design risk assessments, quality checks, and adhere to HSE requirements.
  • Technical Support & Reporting
  • Provide technical support during design, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Prepare and present design briefs, progress reports, proposals, and feasibility assessments to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Education
  • Diploma & Bachelor�s degree in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience
  • 0-2 years (or more) experience in water or wastewater treatment system design, preferably within EPC or engineering consultancy environments.
  • Technical Skills
  • Good to have knowledge of AutoCAD & experience is a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication to liaise effectively across teams and clients.
  • Soft Skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and coordination capabilities.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work under tight deadlines, and multi-task across projects.


Work Environment


  • Primarily office-based with occasional site visits to support design verification, commissioning, or stakeholder meetings.

Job Type: Full-time


Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
