Job Summary:


We are looking for a highly skilled and creative

Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and the ability to manage a dynamic team. You will be responsible for menu planning, ensuring food quality, controlling costs, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and supervise all kitchen staff and culinary operations.
  • Develop and update innovative menus that reflect our brand and customer preferences.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation.
  • Monitor food costs, kitchen supplies, and inventory to maintain budget.
  • Implement and maintain hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards (HACCP compliance).
  • Train, mentor, and schedule kitchen team members to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with management for special events, catering, and seasonal promotions.
  • Source and manage relationships with food suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Handle kitchen administration, including reports, payroll input, and compliance paperwork.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a professional kitchen.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of international and local cuisines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards.
  • Experience with budgeting, inventory control, and staff scheduling.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices.


Preferred Skills:


  • Experience in hotel, fine-dining, or high-volume restaurant operations.
  • Knowledge of food trends, dietary requirements, and sustainability practices.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, kitchen management software).
