Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Finishing Engineer with over 8+ years of hands-on experience in managing and executing high-quality finishing works in residential, commercial, or hospitality construction projects.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in coordinating site activities, ensuring workmanship standards, and delivering snag-free finishes in line with project specifications and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and execute all finishing activities on site, including:Painting, plastering, tiling, marble works, wooden flooring, ceiling works, wall panelling, joinery, and installation of fixtures and fittings.Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and material submittals.

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with approved designs.Manage snagging and de-snagging processes, ensuring timely and high-quality rectification.Coordinate and monitor subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project milestones.

Ensure materials used are as per project specifications and approved samples.Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and communicate effectively with the Project Manager.

Attend project meetings and provide updates on work status, challenges, and resource needs.Proactively identify and resolve technical or execution issues on site

.Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company standards on site.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (5+ Years) / Diploma (8+ Years) in civil engineering Relevant experience in finishing works within the construction or interior fit-out industry.

Proven experience in high-end finishes for residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.

Strong technical knowledge of finishing materials, application techniques, and installation standards.

Familiarity with snagging software and project documentation tools.

Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and project tracking tools.
