Impel Ferrocast Private Limited is looking for an experienced and responsible
Furan Supervisor to oversee and manage furan molding line operations in our cast iron (CI) and spheroidal graphite (SG) iron foundry. The candidate must be well-versed with furan molding processes and capable of leading a team to ensure consistent production quality and efficiency.- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the furan molding section.
- Ensure proper preparation and mixing of furan resin, catalyst, and sand.
- Monitor core and mold quality to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Ensure timely mold production as per daily production targets.
- Maintain process parameters and documentation of molding line operations.
- Coordinate with melting and fettling departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Conduct routine inspection and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Train and supervise molding workers to ensure safety and productivity.
- Maintain housekeeping and follow safety guidelines in the molding area.
- ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Metallurgy or related field.
- Minimum 3�5 years of experience in furan molding operations in a CI/SG iron foundry.
- In-depth knowledge of furan no-bake molding systems and process control.
- Familiarity with quality standards and foundry best practices.
- Team management and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of molding defects and their root causes.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues in furan molding processes.
