HR (Human Resources) and Adminstration professional in a manufacturing setting manages all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training, compliance, and performance management aligning HR practices with the specific needs of the manufacturing plant.


Responsibilities:


1. Recruitment and Onboarding:


· Overseeing the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring new employees.


· Managing the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are properly integrated into the plant's culture and procedures.


2. Employee Relations:


· Building positive employee relations and addressing workplace conflicts.


· Managing grievances, disciplinary actions, and ensuring fair treatment of all employees.


· Fostering a positive work environment through employee engagement and morale-boosting activities.


3. Compliance and Legal:


· Ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.


· Implementing and managing HR policies and procedures that align with company guidelines and legal requirements.


4. Training and Development:


· Developing and implementing training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.


· Facilitating professional development opportunities for employees.


5. Performance Management:


· Overseeing performance management processes, including performance appraisals and feedback.


· Working with managers to address performance issues and develop improvement plans.


6. Compensation and Benefits:


· Administering compensation and benefits programs for plant employees.


· Ensuring that compensation practices are competitive and fair.


7. Safety and Health:


· Working with the plant's safety team to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.


· Implementing and monitoring safety policies and procedures.


8. Other Responsibilities:


· Maintaining accurate HR records and documentation.


· Managing employee relations issues and ensuring a positive work environment.


· Providing HR guidance and support to managers and employees.


· Possibly negotiating collective bargaining agreements in unionized environments.


· May involve overseeing other administrative functions like canteen, transportation, and housekeeping.


· Advising management on HR best practices and legal requirements.


· Participating in workforce planning and organizational development.


Qualifications & Skills


  • Proven experience (3+ years) as an HR Officer or in a similar HR role with expertise in Payroll, Compensation and Benefits, and HR Operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR systems and practices, including payroll management, labor laws, and compensation structuring.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel or HR software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
