JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Groovy, and Katalon Studio. The ideal candidate should have experience in both development and test automation, particularly with API testing. In this role, you will be responsible for building advanced features on top of Katalon Studio to enable greater customization and extensibility of the platform. A working knowledge of LLM/ML modules is a plus.

Key Responsibilities* Design and implement new features extending Katalon Studio’s core functionality.

• Integrate intelligent solutions using LLMs and ML modules where applicable.
  
• Ensure seamless integration of test automation with existing development and CI/CD systems.
  
• Develop robust, reusable, and scalable API automation test cases.
  
• Build and maintain regression test suites using Katalon Studio.
  
• Perform internal QA and quickly incorporate feedback.
  
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and bi-weekly demos.
  

Required Skills* 3+ years of professional experience in Java application development.

• Strong experience in designing and developing scalable applications using Java 17+.
  
• Hands-on expertise in Eclipse RCP and RAP for modular desktop/web application development.
  
• Proficient in applying software design principles (SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI) and architectural patterns.
  
• Strong analytical skills to optimize code for time and space complexity.
  
• Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) or AI-based features into applications.
  
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, monitoring, and automation tools.
  
• Ability to write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.
  
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, QA)
