Overview


The Global Mobility Services roles will manage identified end to end, centralized and standardized global mobility processes for the GM team and be responsible to run processes on global technology platforms and local solutions where needed based out of the HBS.

Major Responsibilities include:This position within the HR Operations Global Mobility (GM) function will provide ongoing operational support to the GM Services Team based in the USA. This position will partner with external (tax and relocation) providers and appropriate PepsiCo work stream teams, i.e. Finance Shared Service Centers, Total Rewards, HR Operations etc. to support the execution of Global Mobility core processes.

The role requires strong technical knowledge on cross border moves, tax reporting/compliance and systems to include Employee Central, SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities


Operational Support* Develop international assignment packages for cross-border transfers: Single-year financial costing, including compliance framework from legal, immigration, income tax, Social Security, pension and corporate tax perspectives and tax and Social Security calculations using tax software

  • Coordinate all or specific aspects of administration associated with new hires, transfers, merit increases, promotions and terminations for international assignments
  • Letters of understanding
  • System Set-up and updates
  • Vendor coordination & authorizations
  • Global Payroll
  • Pension and/or benefits start/end
  • Annual set up/Focal Point Review administration
  • Implement all compensation and job related processes, including merit increases, promotions, terminations, bonus payments
  • Coordinate Foreign compensation collection, tax payments, income tax refund and excess tax reconciliation balances owed to PepsiCo during the international assignment lifecycle
  • Review and validate monthly, quarterly, annual compensation used to prepare assignees� income tax returns to mitigate risk of under reporting to avoid significant penalties and to ensure post tax year adjustments
  • Cross-charge review/coordination/confirmation
  • Process/review ad-hoc payments


Job Dimensions* Requires operating knowledge in international employment taxation

  • Flexibility to work off hours on a regular basis in order to serve and communicate with clients as required


Qualifications


  • Bachelor degree or related experience required , preferably with some financial / tax/ technical background.
  • End to end GTMS Service Operations experience for at least 6 years in similar organization of scale and complexity with 9 years of total exp
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels and functions and with 3rd party vendors
  • Strong demonstrated analytical skills and experience with global HR Systems � exposure to expat processing a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft excel
  • Effective problem solving skills, high degree of initiative with a quality focus and strong attention to detail with minimal day-to-day supervision
  • Ability to proactively identify potential or actual risks and issues, propose solutions and highlight concerns to leadership
  • Ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of requests
  • Strong verbal, written communication and organizational skills
  • Mandatory experience supporting all region on Global mobility for at least significant 5 countries of EU
  • Global tax, compensation for global countries local experience of Short-term, Long-term assignment
  • Change management and agility
  • Demonstrated track record of strong service delivery
  • Technical / Functional Skills & Knowledge of HR Tools and Interfaces
