Job Purpose

To design, develop, and coordinate plumbing and HVAC systems for infrastructure / building projects for Infra.Health ensuring that designs are efficient, compliant, constructible, cost-effective, and meet health & safety / regulatory norms.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out detailed design of plumbing systems including domestic cold & hot water supply, drainage, sanitary, storm water, waste & venting.

Design HVAC systems: load calculations (cooling / heating), ductwork layout and sizing, AHUs, VRF / package / central systems, ventilation, fresh air, temperature & humidity control.

Select proper equipment (pumps, fans, air handling units, chillers etc.), material specifications.

Prepare drawings, plans, schematics, and technical details (2D & 3D as required).

Perform calculations for pressure loss, friction loss (in ducts/pipes), heat / cooling loads, flow rates.

Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, regulations (national, local, health / hygiene especially relevant for Infra.Health), and sustainability / energy norms.

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical & fire protection teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.

Review and resolve clashes or conflicts in design (using BIM / Revit / AutoCAD etc.), ensure coordinated drawings.

Provide support during construction: review shop drawings / contractor submissions, site inspections, field adjustments to maintain design intent.

Participate in value engineering: suggest cost-saving or efficiency-improving modifications.

Maintain project documentation, specifications, calculation sheets, equipment schedules.

Ensure quality and accuracy in deliverables and meet deadlines.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).

Proven experience (typically 3‑5 years, or more depending on seniority) in designing plumbing and HVAC systems in building / infrastructure sector.

Good knowledge of relevant design & calculation tools/software: AutoCAD, Revit MEP, duct- and pipe-sizing tools, load calculation tools etc.

Understanding of codes & standards relevant in India (e.g. NBC, IS codes, local municipal health/plumbing by‑laws) and international ones (if projects demand).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills; ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders (architects, contractors, other MEP disciplines).

Attention to detail, accuracy.

Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks; work on multiple projects concurrently.

Site experience is a plus (visits, inspections, observing installation details).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
