We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized therapy programs for children with a variety of developmental, physical, and cognitive disabilities. This role requires a deep understanding of pediatric occupational therapy principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping children achieve their fullest potential.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of children’s motor, sensory, cognitive, and developmental abilities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and family input.
Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to enhance children's ability to perform daily activities and improve their quality of life.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to support the child’s therapeutic progress.
Educate and train parents and caregivers on how to support therapy goals at home.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan care for each child.
Stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development.
Master’s degree in Pediatric Physiotherapist from a reputated medical college.
Current state license to practice as a Physiotherapist.
Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a clinical or school setting.
Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and pediatric conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to therapy.
Ability to lift and carry children and therapy equipment.
Capability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and moving the whole body.
