- Customer Interaction:
- Greet customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Answer customer questions about the menu, ingredients, and daily specials.
- Assist customers in making choices and suggestively sell menu items.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Order Management:
- Receive and accurately record food and beverage orders from customers.
- Use a point-of-sale (POS) system to input orders and manage transactions.
- Repeat the order to the customer to ensure accuracy.
- Relay orders efficiently and accurately to the kitchen staff.
- Payment Processing:
- Process customer payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Maintain accurate cash register balances and reconcile daily transactions.
- Kitchen & Service Coordination:
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and on time.
- Assist with order fulfillment by packaging food and ensuring readiness for pickup.
- Workplace Maintenance:
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the counter area and workspace.
- Ensure that condiments, utensils, and other necessary supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Compliance & Teamwork:
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure guest health.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to provide efficient service.
