PCB Design Engineer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented PCB Design Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic hardware development team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating electronic circuit schematics into high-quality, manufacturable printed circuit board layouts. Using your expertise in

• Design and develop single-sided, double-sided, and multi-layer PCBs from schematic capture through to the generation of final manufacturing files using Altium Designer.
  
• Create and manage schematic symbols and PCB footprints for new components, ensuring they adhere to IPC standards and our internal library guidelines.
  
• Perform component placement and signal routing for a variety of circuits, including analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics, while considering signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management.
  
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to understand circuit requirements and with mechanical engineers to ensure proper board fit within product enclosures.
  
• Implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to ensure designs are cost-effective and reliable to produce.
  
• Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation packages, including Gerber files, Bill of Materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, and pick-and-place files.
  
• Interface with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors to address technical questions and resolve any manufacturing issues.
  
• Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback on schematics and layouts to ensure design integrity and quality.
  

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
  
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in printed circuit board design.
  
• High proficiency with Altium Designer is required. Experience with its advanced features like differential pair routing, length tuning, and 3D modeling is a strong plus.
  
• A solid understanding of electronic components, circuit principles, and schematic diagrams.
  
• Familiarity with industry standards, including IPC standards for PCB design and manufacturability.
  
• Experience with component library creation and management.
  
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team.

Pay: ₹280,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
