Job Title: Panel Wiring Technician / Panel Wiring Engineer

Job Purpose:


To execute panel wiring and assembly activities for process and analytical instruments in line with engineering drawings, safety standards, and project timelines.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts for control panels and instrumentation systems.
  • Carry out wiring, assembly, and termination work for electrical control panels as per design specifications and company standards.
  • Ensure correct selection and installation of cables, terminals, ferrules, and accessories.
  • Conduct preliminary inspection and testing of completed panels for continuity, insulation, and compliance with safety norms.
  • Support engineers during FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and customer inspections.
  • Maintain proper documentation of wiring activities, test results, and any modifications.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety guidelines and housekeeping standards.
  • Coordinate with design and production teams to resolve wiring or layout issues.
  • Assist in troubleshooting wiring faults or discrepancies during panel assembly or testing.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 1–5 years of experience in panel wiring, control panel assembly, or related roles.
  • Good knowledge of electrical components (relays, contactors, MCBs, PLC modules, terminal blocks).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Familiarity with industrial standards (IS/IEC) and safety practices for electrical panels.
