- Operations Management: Direct and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the plant floor to ensure efficient production processes and output.
- Staff Management: Supervise, train, and motivate staff, manage work schedules, and resolve employee disputes to achieve high performance levels.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, HACCP), ensure high-quality standards, and implement environmental policies.
- Equipment Oversight: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot plant equipment, coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Production Monitoring: Track key performance indicators, set production targets, and monitor progress towards organizational goals.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency through process optimization and strategic planning.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the management of plant supplies and raw materials to maintain efficient operations.
