Job Description:


Dr. Aravind's IVF Clinic is seeking a highly organized and motivated

Purchase Executive to join our team. This role involves managing procurement activities and ensuring that all necessary medical and office supplies, equipment, and materials are available for smooth clinic operations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Procurement Management:
  • Responsible for purchasing medical supplies, equipment, and consumables required for the clinic's daily operations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Inventory Control:
  • Maintain and track inventory levels, ensure stocks are ordered in advance to prevent shortages.
  • Ensure proper storage of medical products and supplies, adhering to all regulatory guidelines.
  • Vendor Relations:
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate prices and terms for the best value deals for the clinic.
  • Order Management:
  • Review and verify purchase orders.
  • Ensure proper documentation and timely processing of orders.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that all purchased products meet the clinic’s quality standards and comply with relevant health regulations.
  • Budget Management:
  • Assist in tracking the clinic’s purchasing budget and making sure that expenses align with financial goals.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting:
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all purchases, including invoice verification and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Generate regular reports on procurement activity and stock levels for management.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with clinical staff and other departments to understand product needs and ensure timely procurement.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure all medical and non-medical items comply with local healthcare regulations.


Requirements:


  • Experience: At least 3 - 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the healthcare or medical field.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of inventory management and procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience working in the healthcare or IVF sector.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and consumables.
