Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

QA Automation Lead to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks, leading QA teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. This role requires strong leadership, technical skills, and a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of QA Automation Engineers, providing technical guidance and career development support.
  
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test scripts for web, mobile, and API platforms.
  
• Define and implement QA strategy, automation standards, and best practices.
  
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  
• Drive end-to-end automation across CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
  
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and ensure early detection through automation and continuous testing.
  
• Track QA metrics (e.g., defect density, test coverage, execution results) and prepare quality dashboards for stakeholders.
  
• Ensure compliance with security, performance, and scalability testing requirements.
  
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness activities.
  
• Stay updated with emerging QA tools, technologies, and industry trends to bring innovation to the QA practice.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  
• 8–10 years of overall QA experience with at least 3+ years in a lead role.
  
• Hands-on expertise in automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, RestAssured, Appium, or Cypress.
  
• Strong programming skills in Java/Python/JavaScript for test automation.
  
• Experience with API automation and tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
  
• Proven experience in setting up and enhancing automation frameworks (hybrid, data-driven, keyword-driven, BDD/TDD).
  
• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, or Maven/Gradle.
  
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
  
• Experience with performance and security testing is a plus (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  

Good to Have

• Experience with microservices testing and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  
• Knowledge of AI/ML-driven test automation tools.
  
• Exposure to BFSI, Healthcare, or Product-based domains.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹140,000.00 per month
