Roles and Responsibilities of Business Development Officer (BDO):


  • Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Identify potential clients through online research, networking, referrals, and social platforms.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Sales & Business Growth
  • Present and pitch company services (Web Development, App Development, Digital Marketing, IT Solutions) to prospects.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets set by management.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Research & Strategy
  • Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Suggest new business strategies and approaches to improve revenue.
  • Negotiation & Closing Deals
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms with potential clients.
  • Ensure timely closure of deals and successful onboarding of clients.
  • Collaboration with Teams
  • Work closely with technical and marketing teams to prepare proposals and presentations.
  • Share client requirements clearly for smooth project execution.
  • Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management review.
