Job Title: Regional Sales ManagerRole Definition


The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and managing the complete business operations within the assigned region. This role includes developing sales strategies, building distribution networks, achieving sales targets, coordinating with the marketing team, monitoring dealer/distributor performance, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. The Regional Sales Manager will also analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and ensure the region’s business goals align with the company’s objectives.


Key Responsibilities


Sales & Business Development


  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Identify, appoint, and manage distributors, channel partners, and dealers in the region.
  • Conduct regular sales visits, client meetings, and business reviews.
  • Expand market reach by identifying new business opportunities.


Team & Dealer Management


  • Train, motivate, and monitor the regional sales team.
  • Provide guidance and support to dealers/distributors for achieving sales growth.
  • Ensure strong relationships with key clients and partners.


Reporting & Coordination


  • Submit Daily/Weekly/Monthly Sales Reports to Head Office.
  • Review sales performance and suggest improvements.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Finance, and Operations for smooth execution of business plans.


Customer & Market Focus


  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely support and service.
  • Track competitor activities and market trends.
  • Recommend innovative ideas and product improvements.


Required Skills & Knowledge


  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Good knowledge of distribution channels and regional markets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • ERP / CRM data entry and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.


Qualifications & Experience


  • Graduate / MBA (preferred) in Sales & Marketing.
  • 5–10 years of experience in regional sales, distribution, or channel management.
  • Experience in handling South/West/North region markets will be an added advantage.


Job Types: Full-time, Permanent


Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
