Job Position:

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop construction systems, building components, and innovative materials to improve project efficiency and durability.

Explore new methods for modular construction, pre-cast systems, and sustainable building solutions.

Prepare detailed mechanical drawings and 2D/3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, etc.).

Ensure designs meet structural integrity, safety codes, and regulatory requirements.

Conduct R&D on new materials (e.g., high-performance concrete, composites, recycled materials).

Oversee prototyping, product testing, and validation to ensure reliability and performance. Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors and suppliers to support innovation and quality standards.

Work on product cost analysis and cost-minimization strategies in collaboration with procurement and finance teams.

Work closely with project, production, and quality teams to implement new technologies and processes.

Support on-site teams during pilot projects or trials.

Identify opportunities to reduce cost, shorten construction timelines, and enhance sustainability.

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

4–10 years of experience in R&D, product engineering, or product development within the construction or infrastructure industry.

Proficiency in mechanical drafting, product design and development, and CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or equivalent.

Strong understanding of building codes, construction standards, and structural analysis.

Familiarity with construction materials, modular systems, and innovative building techniques.

Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to develop practical, scalable solutions.

Preferred Attributes

Experience with green building technologies or sustainable construction practices.

Knowledge of project management tools and R&D documentation standards.

Strong communication skills and proven ability to collaborate across teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
