Retail Store supervisor

Ashoka Provision store, Haridwar, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Retail Supervisor to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing our community with quality products and excellent customer service.

• Team Management:
  
• Supervise and motivate a team of retail staff.
  
• Schedule staff shifts and manage timekeeping.
  
• Provide training and guidance to new and existing employees.
  
• Resolve staff conflicts and address performance issues.
  
• Customer Service:
  
• Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.
  
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regular customers.
  
• Inventory Management:
  
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
  
• Ensure accurate stock rotation and minimize wastage.
  
• Conduct regular stock checks and audits.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized stock room.
  
• Shop Operations:
  
• Oversee daily shop operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  
• Ensure the shop is clean, tidy, and well-organized.
  
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
  
• Ensure proper product placement and displays.
  
• Sales and Promotion:
  
• Implement promotional activities and sales strategies.
  
• Monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  
• Assist in creating and maintaining product displays.
  

• Proven experience in a retail supervisory role, preferably in a kirana or grocery store.
  
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
  
• Excellent customer service skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic computer literacy.
  
• Ability to read and write Hindi and English.
  
• Familiarity with local customers and their needs.
  
• Must be reliable and punctual.
  

• Experience with billing software.
  
• Local Resident of Haridwar.
  

• Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
