Job Summary


Engineer-Safety EHS will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment across all sites and projects at Spacedraft. This position is responsible for implementing and monitoring safety policies, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with local safety regulations, and promoting a culture of health, safety, and environmental consciousness among employees.

Safety Compliance & Audits:


  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to health, safety, and environmental practices.
  • Prepare and maintain safety-related documentation, reports, and compliance records.


Risk Assessment & Hazard Control:


  • Identify hazards and assess risks in the workplace and at project sites.
  • Implement control measures to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of all employees and visitors.
  • Develop and update risk assessments and safe work procedures.


Training & Awareness:


  • Conduct safety training and toolbox talks to educate employees on safe work practices, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency procedures.


Incident Investigation:


  • Lead the investigation of workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
  • Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Prepare incident reports and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.


Emergency Preparedness:


  • Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
  • Organize and conduct regular emergency drills, including fire, evacuation, and medical emergency simulations.


Waste Management & Environmental Protection:


  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including waste management and pollution control.
  • Coordinate waste disposal and recycling efforts in alignment with local environmental standards


Coordination with Stakeholders:


  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and employees to ensure safety protocols are integrated into all project activities.


Key Skills & Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Safety Management, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in safety management, particularly in the construction or civil engineering sector.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with EHS regulations, safety audit practices, and risk assessment techniques.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train and motivate teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and mitigate safety risks.
  • Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented to ensure compliance and thorough reporting
  • Compensation: Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
