Experience: 6–10 years in Government / B2G Sales


Key Responsibilities


Lead business development for Smart City vertical in government and PSU sectors.


  • Engage with departments (Municipal Corporations, Development Authorities, Urban Local Bodies, State Nodal Agencies) to specify Utopiatech products in upcoming tenders.
  • Own the complete sales cycle: lead generation, specification, RFP/tender management, technical-commercial discussions, negotiations, and order closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders, consultants, and channel partners.
  • Monitor and track government initiatives such as Smart Cities Mission, AMRUT, State Urban Missions, etc., to identify business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with technical and product teams to design winning proposals and presentations.
  • Drive sales targets, forecast pipeline, and ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Mentor Sales Engineers and junior team members.


Qualifications & Skills


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or MBA (preferred).
  • 2–4 years of proven experience in Government/PSU/Smart City sales.
  • Strong understanding of government tendering processes, bid preparation, and product specification.
  • Established network with decision-makers in government departments, PSUs, and consultants.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively across India.
  • Self-motivated with strong business acumen and result-driven approach.


Job Types: Full-time, Permanent


Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
