Customer Interaction:


  • Lead Generation: Identifying and prospecting potential customers.
  • Consultation: Understanding customer needs, assessing their HVAC requirements, and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Presentations and Proposals: Preparing and delivering sales presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value of HVAC systems and services.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiating contracts and closing sales deals.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Product Knowledge: Possessing a strong understanding of HVAC systems, products, and industry trends.
  • Site Assessments: Performing site assessments to determine the best HVAC solutions for a customer's needs.
  • Estimating and Bidding: Creating accurate estimates and proposals based on customer needs and technical requirements.
  • Sales Process:
  • Following Up: Following up with leads and existing customers to ensure timely responses and conversions.
  • Post-Sale Support: Facilitating post-sale transitions with installation managers and installers to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction.


Other Duties:


  • Collaboration: Working with internal teams, such as installation and service departments, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Staying Updated: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, products, and competitors.
  • CRM Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer information in the CRM program.
  • Training: Participating in training on the latest industry technologies.


Requirements:


  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least two years of sales experience is required.
  • Skills:
  • Communication: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills are important to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Technical Understanding: A good understanding of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating principles is beneficial.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve customer problems.

  • Reliability: Reliability and self-motivation are important.
  • Availability: Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license may be required for some positions.
