Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer with a strong background in law enforcement to join our team at Jewelry Manufacturing company . The ideal candidate will have a proven history of working in a police department and will bring an elevated level of security expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to safeguarding our valuable assets. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the protection of both our people and products in a fast-paced, high-security environment.

• Surveillance & Monitoring: Oversee and monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) and alarm systems to detect and prevent any suspicious activity. Ensure continuous operation and efficiency of all security equipment.
  
• Access Control: Manage entry and exit points to ensure only authorized personnel, vendors, and visitors have access to the premises. Perform thorough checks of personnel and vehicles entering and exiting the facility.
  
• Patrol Duties: Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, including the interior, exterior, and perimeter of the building, ensuring all security protocols are followed.
  
• Incident Response: Act as a first responder in case of emergencies, including but not limited to theft, fire, medical emergencies, and workplace accidents. Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when required.
  
• Loss Prevention: Implement and monitor security protocols aimed at preventing theft, vandalism, and other security breaches related to both raw materials and finished jewelry products.
  
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of security incidents, security breaches, and daily activities. Prepare detailed incident reports and ensure appropriate follow-up actions.
  
• Compliance & Safety: Enforce all safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a secure work environment. Assist in conducting regular safety drills and audits.
  
• Collaboration with Law Enforcement: Serve as a liaison between the jewelry manufacturing company and local law enforcement. Communicate and share relevant security-related information to prevent criminal activity.
  
• Employee & Visitor Safety: Promote a safe working environment for all employees by maintaining a visible and approachable security presence. Address any concerns regarding personal safety or suspicious behavior.
  
• Training & Mentoring: Provide training to new security officers and staff on emergency protocols, access control procedures, and loss prevention techniques. Use law enforcement expertise to contribute to overall security training programs.
  

• Education & Experience:
  
• High School diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or a related field is preferred.
  
• Previous experience working as a police officer or law enforcement personnel (required).
  
• Prior security experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus.
  
• Certifications:
  
• Valid Security Officer License (if applicable based on local jurisdiction).
  
• CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred).
  
• Additional certifications in security or law enforcement-related fields are a plus.
  
• Skills & Abilities:
  
• Strong knowledge of law enforcement techniques, security systems, and emergency response procedures.
  
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
  
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure or in emergency situations.
  
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to report incidents clearly and accurately.
  
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  
• Physically fit to conduct regular patrols and respond quickly in emergencies.
