Senior Accountant Manufacturing Industry only

• Supervise complete accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations.
  
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure timely recording of journal entries.
  
• Maintain accuracy in accounting records as per GAAP / IFRS standards.
  

• Prepare and publish monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  
• Conduct variance analysis and deliver financial insights to support decision-making.
  

• Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS/TCS, and other statutory requirements.
  
• Prepare and file returns in line with local, state, and federal regulations.
  
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits and manage tax assessments.
  

• Lead and mentor the accounting team; provide training and performance reviews.
  
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing accounting environment.
  

• Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls to enhance accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  
• Recommend and drive process improvements to increase efficiency.
  

• Prepare the annual budget and financial forecasts in coordination with department heads.
  
• Monitor cash flows, manage creditor payments, and ensure optimal fund utilization.
  
• Handle bank compliance matters and liaise with financial institutions.
  

• Accounting Standards: Deep understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and statutory compliance.
  
• Financial Analysis: Strong analytical abilities with a focus on business insights.
  
• Software Knowledge: Proficient in Tally Prime, ERP systems, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
  
• Team Leadership: Experience in guiding and managing accounting professionals.
  
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
  
• Manufacturing Sector Experience: Understanding of accounting nuances in a manufacturing setup.
  
• Problem Solving: Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
