We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee our daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, managing audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and P&L reports.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances, returns, and filings.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning activities.
- Handle payroll processing and employee reimbursement entries (if required).
- Liaise with banks, vendors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and legal requirements.
- Support management with financial data for decision-making.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP)
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and statutory laws
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
