About the Role


We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive

Senior Associate – General Ledger to join our finance and accounts team. The role involves managing end-to-end ledger accounting, reporting, and bookkeeping activities, ensuring compliance with financial standards and supporting management with accurate reporting for decision-making.


Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Ledger & Accounting


  • Manage day-to-day general ledger operations, including journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure accuracy in posting transactions related to revenue, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
  • Handle month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely reporting.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet schedules.


Bookkeeping & Reporting


  • Prepare and review financial reports, MIS reports, and schedules as per company requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS) / GAAP / IFRS (as applicable).
  • Support statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits with accurate data and reconciliations.
  • Track and report variances, highlighting key insights for management.


Compliance & Controls


  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles, internal controls, and company policies.
  • Assist in process improvements for automation and efficiency in reporting.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all accounting transactions.


Required Skills & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance).
  • CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred but not mandatory.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in General Ledger Accounting, Reporting, and Bookkeeping.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and experience in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally).
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate across teams.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
