Position: Service Engineer

Location: Mumbai (with willingness to travel within assigned region)

Role Overview:


  • We are seeking a highly motivated Service Engineer who will take ownership of service operations within the assigned region. The role involves managing installations, preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, and AMC execution while ensuring maximum equipment uptime. In addition, the Service Engineer will contribute to business growth by generating leads for sales, spares, consumables, upgrades, and AMC contracts.


Key Responsibilities:


  • End-to-End Service Ownership – Manage installations, preventive maintenance, AMC visits, and repairs in the assigned region.
  • Uptime Assurance – Ensure maximum uptime of all installed equipment through proactive service.
  • Sales Contribution & Lead Generation – Identify and share leads for new product sales; promote and sell spares, consumables, accessories, and upgrades; support sales team by spotting opportunities during service visits.
  • AMC Fulfillment – Ensure timely execution and renewal of AMC contracts.
  • Service Calendar Management – Plan and maintain service schedules to optimize customer support.
  • Customer Communication – Build strong customer relationships, provide regular updates, explain service work clearly, and capture feedback.
  • Business Growth – Contribute to year-on-year incremental revenues through service excellence and customer trust.
  • Travel Readiness – Travel extensively within the assigned region for service and customer


support.


Qualifications & Skills:


  • Diploma / B.E. in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical (or related field).
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in installation, servicing, or maintenance of scientific / medical instruments.
  • Priority to candidates with experience in Nuclear Research, Nuclear Industry, Nuclear Medicine equipment.
  • Candidates with background in companies like GE, Siemens, EEIPL, or similar organizations will be preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact effectively with customers.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-driven, able to work independently, and manage multiple service calls.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region.

Job Type: Full-time


Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹38,535.76 per month
