As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organisation's social media strategy. You will be the driving force behind building brand awareness, increasing online presence, and engaging with the target audience across various social media platforms. This role requires a combination of creativity, strategic thinking, and analytical skills to maximise the impact of social media efforts.


Responsibilities:


1. Strategy Development:


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Identify target audiences and create content that resonates with them.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging platforms to ensure the strategy remains relevant and effective.


2. Content Creation:


  • Create engaging and high-quality content for various social media platforms, including text, image, and video content.
  • Collaborate with the design and content teams to produce visually appealing and shareable materials.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all social media channels.


3. Community Engagement:


  • Foster and grow an active and engaged community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, discussions, and opportunities to participate in relevant conversations.
  • Implement strategies to encourage user-generated content and community interaction.


4. Social Media Advertising:


  • Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns to reach target audiences and achieve specific objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of paid campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.


5. Analytics and Reporting:


  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of social media efforts.
  • Provide regular reports on social media performance, highlighting insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Use data to refine strategies and enhance the overall impact of social media activities.


6. Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, public relations, and customer service, to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Work closely with influencers, partners, and other stakeholders to amplify the brand's reach.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
  • Proficient in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
