QA Engineer with expertise in testing methodologies, SQL databases, and a strong understanding of finance, accounting, and capital markets. The ideal candidate should have experience in financial applications testing, trade lifecycle, and data validation.Qualifications & Requirements----------------------------------
- + 3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in finance, banking, or capital markets.
+ Strong proficiency in
manual and automation testing.+ Excellent knowledge of
SQL queries for financial data validation.+ Experience with testing tools like
Selenium, JMeter, Postman, or similar.+ Understanding of
trade lifecycle, financial instruments, and accounting principles.+ Familiarity with
capital markets, stock trading, and investment platforms.+ Hands-on experience with
defect tracking tools and Agile methodologies.+ Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
Preferred Skills:+ Experience with
cloud-based financial applications (AWS, Azure, GCP).+ Knowledge of
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.+ Understanding of
regulatory compliance (SEBI, FINRA, IFRS, GAAP, etc.).Scripting knowledge (Python, Java) for
test automation.Duties and Responsibilities

- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases for financial applications related to accounting, capital markets, and trading platforms.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for financial systems.
- Validate complex financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting using SQL queries.
- Work closely with business analysts and developers to understand financial workflows and ensure system accuracy.
- Automate test cases using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or equivalent.
- Conduct API testing for financial data integration and third-party services.
- Identify and report defects using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry best practices.
